Celestial Death is a further consolidation of the sounds they pioneered on their debut. Part of the process for the album, according to singer/guitarist Laurens Houvast, was to re-learn how to write songs.

What at first feels like a wall of riffs and washy synths eventually finds definition and reveals a burgeoning voice in extreme metal.
