Matter of a Darker Nature
If you’re bored to crap of the sounds coming out of America and Europe these days, and are looking for a different interpretation of death metal, investigate Matters Of A Darker Nature, an album that actually gets better as it goes along – and it was pretty alright to start with.
Although there’s a long time between Matter of a Dark Nature and its predecessor, the band hasn’t been forgotten, and Carnophage offers effective riffs in all circumstances, whether it’s to move our head or to savor its shadowy touches.
Crafty, wisely written, and executed with extreme fidelity. Don’t worry, it’s also insurmountably heavy – it is brutal death metal, after all.
First of all, 'Matter of a Darker Nature' is an album of guitar riffs. The quality and versatility of guitar duo Mert Kaya and Serhat Kaya are really something that stands out.
