HMB´S REVIEW
Exploring Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience by Bury Tomorrow feels like witnessing a profound transformation, a rebirth shaped by loss, rebuilding, and triumph. On their eighth studio album, the band emerges renewed, having left behind the turbulence of The Seventh Sun, which was marked by lineup changes and the instability of a post-pandemic world. That background of reconstruction is palpable in every track, like a scar telling the story of a difficult, yet necessary path.

From the very first chords of 'To Dream, To Forget', we’re drawn into a dense and contemplative atmosphere. The blend of heaviness and melody creates a constant emotional tension, as if we’re navigating between cries of despair and whispers of hope. This duality, between brutality and sensitivity, pulses throughout the album, guiding the listener on an unstable yet deeply honest journey.

What stands out most is how the band masterfully controls this contrast: crushing riffs, colossal breakdowns, and screamed vocals coexist with moments of calm, where clean melodies emerge like brief moments of clarity in the storm. It’s like watching a turbulent sea that, for fleeting seconds, reveals its serenity.

Tracks like 'Villain Arc', 'Wasteland', and 'Waiting' anchor this emotional voyage. While the first two exude fury and visceral intensity, 'Waiting' and 'Yōkai (妖怪)' reveal the band’s more melodic and introspective side that has always been there, but now feels more present and embraced.

Produced by Carl Bown, the album constructs a dense emotional universe, where themes such as anxiety, inner sabotage, and the search for clarity emerge strongly, reflecting not just the band’s personal struggles, but those of an entire generation. The striking presence of Tom Prendergast adds further layers, with clean vocals that engage in a dialogue with Danny Winter-Bates’ screams, a dance between pain and healing.

By the end of the listen, it feels like walking through a long storm: soaked, exhausted, but purified by a raw and moving sincerity. Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience is not just a milestone in Bury Tomorrow's career. It’s a mirror of the ghosts we all carry and the patience it takes to face them.

Without a doubt, this album marks a bold and confident step forward, solidifying the band as one of the most authentic and impactful voices in contemporary metalcore.
