Iconic Australian hard rock outfit AC/DC may be known for their electrifying music and performances, even taking their name from a machine, but more than fifty years since their first release, the band has announced plans to take the cables out and get to grips with a different approach. At long last, the quintet will pick up acoustic guitars and treat fans to new renditions of old favourites and deep cuts with their brand new album, "ACousDiC." The record was completed late last year in Sydney, Australia and features the likes of "Back In Black," "Highway To Hell," "Hell's Bells" and "Let There Be Rock" just to name a few new versions of their extraordinary catalogue. Back in the 1990's, as many bands took the same route for MTV specials, AC/DC continued along their well trodden path, which proved to be a successful one as "The Razor's Edge" helped them retain their place as rock royalty. Offers were made for the band to appear on Unplugged but the group weren't keen on following any trends. Now, they've decided it's time to let fans hear what it could have been like. The five piece are ready to power down for one album only and fans can hear it for themselves when "ACousDiC" hits stores this Summer. Tracklisting: 1. Hell's Bells2.
