The Berzerker have reunited to play their only European show at this year's Damnation. The Australian industrial death metal juggernaut return after almost two decades away, promising a visual and sonic assault even more extreme than the first time around. Luke Kenny said: "I stopped the band in 2009 because I absolutely fucking hated the constant technical problems. My body was wrecked, and the technical limitations meant it was never anywhere near what I envisioned. "Every show felt like a fucking disaster waiting to happen and I refused to keep giving people a version of this band that didn’t live up to what I imagined. The Berzerker was built to be a brutal sonic and visual assault – speed, chaos, precision and violence – and for years everything onstage fought against that. I hit a point where I simply refused to keep doing it and moved on." In addition to performing at Damnation Festival 2026, which will take place in Manchester, England between the 7th and 8th of November, the Aussie veterans will also perform at the Necrosonic festival on August 22nd in Brisbane.
