Originally founded as a solo project by singer Georg Wilfinger (ex-Miasma) in 2010 in Austria, MONUMENT OF MISANTHROPY has released three studio albums, an EP and a demo up to now. Today, those relentless purveyors of auditory violence and “Mindhunters” of brutal death metal have premiered their new single “Washington State Charm.” The track also serves as the title track to their upcoming new full-length release. "Washington State Charm" is framed as a concept album, charting the coming-of-age story of a serial killer—from an uneasy upbringing and early warning signs to a grim conclusion in the electric chair—drawing inspiration from one of America’s most infamous figures, Ted Bundy.
