HMB´S REVIEW
In 2023, the French metal band Triglöth unleashed their self-titled EP, a solid and impressive debut. Showcasing a diverse and original style, the EP is a testament to the band's technical and musical skills, making it a must-listen for metal fans, especially those inclined towards death, thrash, and groove metal.

The EP comprises five tracks, each offering a unique flavor of Triglöth blend of death, thrash, and groove metal, along with influences from hardcore and sludge. It serves as a brutal and energetic display of the band's prowess, featuring catchy riffs, powerful vocals, and tight drumming.

"Out of the Grave" kicks off the EP with a fast and furious tone, setting the stage for the entire album. The track features a catchy chorus, a groovy breakdown, and a solo that highlights the band's technical abilities. Following is "Satanic V8 Motor Engine," a tribute to the band's love for cars and speed. The song boasts a driving rhythm, a catchy hook, and a heavy riff that's bound to induce headbanging.

The EP's third track, "Shane's Addiction," takes a shorter and more aggressive approach, delivering a blast of hardcore punk. With raw and angry vocals, a simple yet effective riff, and fast and furious drumming, this track adds a burst of intensity. "Floridian Swamp," the fourth track, pays homage to the band's death metal influences, especially from the Florida scene. It creates a dark and sinister atmosphere with a complex and heavy riff and a guttural vocal performance.

Closing the EP is "Gaia's Revenge," the longest and most epic composition. A progressive and melodic piece, it features a variety of tempo changes, a memorable chorus, and a solo that showcases the band's creativity and emotion. Triglöth's debut EP is a captivating journey through their musical landscape, leaving an indelible mark on the metal scene.
